Bringing hope to those with MS

Story

I have somehow committed to doing the Melbourne Marathon (eek!), because I'm really passionate about a charity called CCSVI Australia (MS hope).  This cause is really close to my heart because my awesome cousin has MS.  I've watched her fight for better treatment of this disease with such bravery and dignity that I'm prepared to run 21 kilometres to support her!

The funds raised from my run will help fund a trial at the Alfred Hospital, exploring the effect of angioplasty treatment on the veins of people with MS. Evidence shows that a one hour procedure can alleviate many MS symptoms, but it's a non pharmaceutical solution, so the trial is not being funded. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!

Please donate to this worthy cause.  It's our best chance to fight MS, and give brave people like my cousin the encouragement to keep fighting too.

Thank you for helping to make a difference.

MS Hope (CCSVI Australia Inc)

Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency (CCSVI) is a condition where blood flow in the brain and spine is impaired due to a blockage in one or more of the major veins. CCSVI is implicated in a number of neurodegenerative conditions including Multiple Sclerosis.

Whilst treating CCSVI is not a cure for MS, treating blocked veins can bring real symptomatic improvements. There is great potential that research could unlock further understanding of Multiple Sclerosis as a whole.

This is giving People with MS HOPE
