Moloney runs for Eddie Rice
Story
Hello amazing people!
I have enrolled in the Melbourne half marathon this year and I need your help to raise some much needed funds for the Edmund Rice Camps.
Most of you know that I am not an endurance runner and the last time I attempted a charity run, I strained both of my groin muscles. So this will be a huge task, but it will be all worth it if I can reach my target of $1,500. Raising this money will help 5 children attend an Edmund Rice Camp, which will assist their personal growth, develop essential life skills and build their sense of worth. The camps also bring families together and encourage positive relationships in a welcoming and caring environment.
If you could like to learn more about the Edmund Rice Camps, please visit www.ercvic.com.
Any donation, big or small will make a profound difference to the kids and their families.
Thank you in advance and wish me luck!
Activity
Edmund Rice Camps Inc
Edmund Rice Camps is a not for profit charity based in Melbourne.
We connect young volunteers (or young at heart!), to kids and families living in disadvantaged situations. We use residential camps and recreational activities to create opportunities for role modeling positive behavior and to build self-confidence. In 2015 we will run 12 camps for different groups including: Asylum Seekers living in Community Detention, Refugees, Migrants, Indigenous groups and low-socio economic families.
With a 1:1 ratio, kids and volunteers come together to have fun, relax, learn from each other and the have the holiday experience all kids deserve. Visit our website www.ercvic.com.
